The Stefanie Nelson Quartet have been playing together for over 10 years. Under the musical direction of David Irving (piano) they have a wide range of music from
Latin, Jazz, Folk and even Pop depending on the venue. They have been putting on concerts for local and international organizations.
Stefanie Nelson - Voice and Digital Accordion Stefanie Nelson is a Royal Conservatory Of Music graduate, she has been performing since the age of 15 in many different venues from solo to bands and accompanying other singers on piano, she is currently the soloist at Christ Church Aylmer.
David Irving - PianoDavid is a versatile musician and composer from the Chelsea area. He is a graduate of Boston's 'Berkley Collage of Music' and also studied at Banff and YorkUniversities. He has taught music at Carleton University, Philemon Wright HighSchool and now his own music school, Pizzicato Music. for the last 20 years he has been the resident organist and choir director at Christ Church Aylmer.
Marek Przednowek – Double BassMarek is a local, Chelsea musician, playing double bass professionally for over 35years. He has studied Jazz bass under John Geggie and Classical bass withDavid Currie. He has played professionally in a wide variety of idioms, from jazz to folk pop and rock, touring throughout Canada and in Europe with various ensembles.
Charles Gay - DrumsCharles Gay studied at the University of Ottawa, but he is largely self-taught.Charles was instantly attracted to the world of jazz and the creative latitude it offers. He honed his considerable talent by performing continuously with a multitude of musicians including Jean Beaudet and Kirk MacDonald.
