Montreal-born Wakefield based electric bassist / composer Marc Decho has established himself as an incredibly versatile and creative artist on the Canadian music scene. Marc appears on a plethora of recordings ranging from Jazz, Latin Jazz, Funk, Fusion and beyond. Decho is a longstanding member of the legendary Miguel De Armas Quartet and has performed with a wide variety of GRAMMY / Latin GRAMMY & JUNO winning international artists. In 2023 Marc released his first self produced record as leader “AAAAUM” under the guise of the Marc Decho Quartet. The album received critical acclaim and was featured on Saturday Night Jazz with Laila Biali (CBC Radio), Big City Small World with Errol Nazareth (CBC Radio), Jazz in the City with Jaymz Bee on Jazz FM91 (Toronto’s Premier Jazz Radio Station), and various Canadian University/Independent Radio Stations.
Edward Lister is a U.K born trumpeter, composer & educator. Edward has been based out of Ottawa, Canada since 2011 and currently runs numerous ensembles and Theatre shows including 'Decades of Bond' a tribute to the music of James Bond. Since moving to Ottawa, Ed has been a JUNO Award winning trumpeter and has performed and collaborated with a number of incredible North American musicians. Ed has also created many projects that were made possible by the opportunities and creative spaces that this city provides. These projects include his 11 piece 'Prime Rib Big Band' which has performed many shows since the bands formation in 2017 including a standing monthly residency at the iconic 'Irene's Pub' in Ottawa. Ed performs as a session musician in many other bands and ensembles in Ottawa and also runs the Carleton University Jazz Ensemble which specializes in Big Band performance and original compositions.
